By using our website and services, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions
Hirer – The person or organization making the booking.
Provider – Carehomeactivities.co.uk, represented by activities entertainer & leader Juan Altomonte.
Session – The agreed entertainment and activities program, as showcased during a free 30-minute demo session at your location or as agreed upon before booking confirmation via website materials, email, or other marketing materials provided in person.

3. Services Provided
CarehomeActivities offers engaging and enjoyable sessions for care homes, retirement housing communities, and private residences. Our sessions use gentle exercises, music (including live music for an additional fee), and interactive games to promote health, happiness, and connection for older people and individuals with learning disabilities and dementia, regardless of age.
We offer both group activities and personalized sessions at your location, including:

Entertainment & Activities for Retired Individuals, Senior Citizens & the Elderly

Entertainment & Activities for Adults with Learning Disabilities & Dementia

Entertainment & Activities for Care Homes, Nursing Homes & Retirement Homes
-
Entertainment & Activities for Sheltered Housing & Extra Care Housing
-
Entertainment & Activities for Retirement Housing & Retirement Clubs
-
Entertainment & Activities for Older People in Their Own Residence (presence of two family members or one family member + one carer required)
4. Session Scheduling, Packages, Process & Cancellation/Notice of Termination for Package Deals
Scheduling/Packages
All sessions and packages must be agreed and scheduled in advance via our online booking system, phone, SMS/WhatsApp text, or email.
Packages can be agreed at a discounted or special rate with a required notice of termination as ber below.
Cancellations

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for any session cancellations.
-
Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled session will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the session cost.
-
We will take all reasonable actions to reschedule without extra cost, subject to availability.
Booking Confirmation
-
Once a booking confirmation is issued, it serves as a formal agreement between the Hirer and Provider.

No signatures are required for it to be binding.
Review & Cancellation Window
-
Upon receipt of the booking confirmation, both parties must review the agreed terms.
-
If either party wishes to cancel, they must notify Carehomeactivities.co.uk as soon as possible and at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.
-
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to the full cost of the session.
Provider/Hirer Cancellations & Force Majeure

If the Provider or Hirer is unable to fulfill the scheduled session due to sickness or Force Majeure, including but not limited to:
-
War, fire, epidemic, natural disaster
-
Government restrictions or changes in law
-
Accidents, illness, or severe unforeseen circumstances
-

The affected party must notify the other party as soon as possible.
-
An alternative session date will be arranged, subject to availability, and both parties agree to take all reasonable actions to accommodate.
Right to Decline Bookings
-
The Provider reserves the right to decline or cancel a booking if, upon assessment, it is determined that the session requires specialist knowledge, skills, or equipment beyond what can be reasonably provided.
-
If such a determination is made before the session, the Hirer will be notified as soon as possible, and any pre-paid fees will be refunded in full.
-
If the session is already in progress and the Provider identifies significant concerns regarding their ability to safely or effectively deliver the session, they may end the session early.
-
In such cases, a partial refund or rescheduling may be offered at the Provider’s discretion.
Notice of Termination for Package Deals
If the Hirer has booked a package deal consisting of a set number of sessions per month at a discounted or special rate, a minimum of one month’s notice is required to terminate or discontinue the package on a monthly basis. Failure to provide such notice will result in the continuation of the package for the following month, and the Hirer will be invoiced accordingly.
5. Payment

Payment for services will be invoiced to the billing details provided by the Hirer.

Payments must be made via bank transfer or, upon request, through a secure online payment link.

All payments are due by the date specified on the invoice.

If payment is not received by the due date, please contact Carehomeactivities.co.uk at juan@carehomeactivities.co.uk to discuss an alternative arrangement.
6. User Accounts & Registration

If you create an account on our website, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details.

You must notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorized access or misuse of your account.
7. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of your personal and company information.

Your details will only be used for providing sessions and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
8. Hirer Responsibilities
The Hirer agrees to:

Provide a suitable performance area for the Provider.
-
Provide adequate supervision of the Provider at all times.
-
Disclose any known health and safety risks related to the venue or participants at the time of booking or immediately upon discovery.

Take responsibility for the conduct of guests or audience members to ensure the Provider is not subjected to verbal, physical, or other forms of abuse.
-
For Entertainment & Activities for Older People in Their Own Residence, ensure the presence of at least two family members or at least one family member + one carer during the session.
9. Provider Responsibilities
The Provider agrees to:

Perform to the highest professional standard, as represented in promotional material.
-
Supply necessary equipment for the session unless otherwise stated.
-
Maintain valid Public Liability Insurance and DBS certification, available upon request.
10. Website Usage
By using Carehomeactivities.co.uk, you agree to:

Use the site in accordance with applicable laws.

Not misuse the site by introducing viruses or harmful materials that could disrupt its operation.
11. Intellectual Property Rights

All website content, including text, images, graphics, logos, and digital downloads, is the property of Carehomeactivities.co.uk or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

12. Limitation of Liability

While we maintain public liability insurance, our total liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the extent permitted by law.
